STATEMENT OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF NEUCA S.A. regarding the decision of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection

The Board of Directors of NEUCA S.A. states that it categorically disagrees with the decision of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (OCCP) which concerns the alleged conclusion of a competition-restricting agreement and imposes financial penalties on the companies.

The Board of Directors disagrees with the allegations presented in the statement of the President of OCCP and will address them in detail in the appeal against the decision which the companies intend to file with the court. The decision is not final. Any financial consequences of the decision as well as the manner and deadline of its enforcement will be determined by the court ruling.

The Board of Directors is fully convinced of the lawfulness of its actions and will seek a complete revocation of the sanction imposed. The NEUCA Group’s operating activities are continued in a consistent and stable way.
