The Group's sales structures are undergoing integration.
The company changes its name; NEUCA SA is established as the mother company with management functions. TORFARM remains as one of the wholesalers within the NEUCA Group. We start a new stage in our business development seeking synergies in the healthcare service market.
We gain a new partner in the Group – Prosper. We become an unquestionable market leader with 30% market shares.
We develop the business related to the healthcare market: the creation of the media agency Nekk, ILC – a company designing the IT systems for pharmacies enters the Group, Accedit – a company centralising all the common services (accounting) and IT centre is developed. Synoptis Pharma is a company managing our private label products.
Centralization of logistics within the Group. Existing local warehouses will function alongside three modern warehouse centres to be opened in Katowice, Ołtarzew (near Warsaw) and Gądki (near Poznań).
Piotr Sucharski, Finance Director, is appointed President of the Management Board of TORFARM SA. Kazimierz Herba becomes Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Farmada Transport is founded to handle distribution of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies across the country.
TORFARM Group is established. Integration with pharmaceutical companies which, like TORFARM, do not own pharmacies, including: Galenica−Silfarm Group (composed of the following wholesalers: Galenica, Silfarm, Vita Plus Tadanco, Multi, Dolpharma, PHHiU Farmacja SA), and Optima Radix, Itero, Prego and Panaceum. We achieve 20% market share in the wholesale distribution of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies.
Founding of Świat Zdrowia, a joint-stock company with shares held by pharmacists and TORFARM.
TORFARM SA is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Founding of Pretium, a company with an independent commercial offering, in which TORFARM holds a 100% stake.
The company’s commercial network covers nearly 90% of the country’s territory.
The development of the company follows the directive – we do not have and will never run our own pharmacies since we do not wish to compete with our clients. We are a safe partner of independent pharmacies.
The Toruń-based wholesaler becomes a joint-stock company. Kazimierz Herba becomes the President of TORFARM SA.
Kazmierz Herba founds the pharmaceutical products wholesaler TORFARM in Toruń, Poland.
